Joe, you were taking a mental break when you read his message weren't you? Just joking! Jon's first two words were coat them...actually they were COAT THEM!

I HAVE HAD HEADERS IN PAST JETHOT COATED. CAN I GET AWAY WITH THE 1300 DEGREE SMOOTH SHINNY FINISH OR DO I HAVE TO GO WITH THE 2,000 DEGREE? THE HEADERS ARE HENNESSEY AND WOULD LIKE THEM TO BE NICE AND SHINNY. I WILL BE RUNNING SO NOS. 200 SHOT IN THE ENGINE.

No my question is do I coat or do I not coat. which works better. Fire Coat clams to have a High heat 2,000 deg. for inside and silver 1,300 deg. for out side.
