New battery Gen 3

2005 Vert, Allstate Battery is six years old, starting to drag on startup. Need suggestions on a new battery. Had this one on a .08 amp maintainer all the time. I’d like brand and part number suggestions. Thanks, Bill

I prefer Interstate MTZ-34 as it is an AGM battery (no leaks) and has a 4 year warranty.

This is a good time to check the condition of your cables at the connectors, check the negative cable's connection to the frame, and to be sure that the insulator over the positive terminal is intact and will prevent shorting on the metal battery cover.
