rear differential noise

when letting off the gas on my 05 Viper I hear a whining noise ,is it normal? Should I take it to the dealer? If so any good Viper mechanics around central PA?

I have the same thing in my 04. Since we are basically sitting the the diff, I am taking this as normal---unless it blows

when mine was new and it was real hot out I would also get a little wine. I drained and filled with:

ROYAL PURPLE ****-GEAR PT# 01301, 75W140, MAX-GEAR DIFF OIL, 2 QTS

when mine was new and it was real hot out I would also get a little wine.

Hot wine is okay during the holidays, but I generally prefer mine cooled or chilled.

I know, that is nothing to whine about.
