I am the guy who reproduced the splash shields. I have them listed for sale on all the Viper FB pages, or feel free to shoot me a messageWhat do you call those vent flaps at the rear of the front wheel wells? It looks like they're made of a fiber paper and mine are about to rip off.
How about side sill rocker clear plastic protector film. The National Officers of the Viper Club of America have decided to move forward on the "Old Parts Project". I will be working directly with the National Officers and SRT. The purpose of this post is to identify the Obsolete parts and list them here. We need your input: Let us know what you have not been able to get or replace on your car. When we get a list together this list will be presented to SRT.
Please list the year of the car, and describe the Obsolete Part. Things like fasteners, antenna mount, weather-strips, side curtains, soft tops or even specific parts of a soft top, AC system and parts, etc.
Please be patient and thanks.
The heater flow control valve was sourced from Denso of Japan. The hose nip ples are 9/16" (14mm) - NOT 5/8". You can get an OE Toyota Tacoma/4-Runner replacement from the late 90s to mid 2000s and just re-use the Viper bracket.
The switch cannot be re-sealed, it has a metal welded diaphragm inside that has cracked. We all need to find a compatible replacement.Unfortunately I have the part number and every vendor is out of stock and there are no after-market options. What I am having to do is, remove the switch, plug the 3/4 thread in the housing and then work on a way to re-seal the switch. We'll see how that goes.
You better clean that connector and leave it unplugged.Anyone know where I can find the low oil levelYou must be registered for see images attachswitch? Mine is leaking like crazy and I cannot seem to source one anywhere.
Is that a 1 wire connector ?Unfortunately I have the part number and every vendor is out of stock and there are no after-market options. What I am having to do is, remove the switch, plug the 3/4 thread in the housing and then work on a way to re-seal the switch. We'll see how that goes.
It's well and clean now.You better clean that connector and leave it unplugged.
You do not want the oil to wick up through the harness. Benzs have that issue and their leak is waaay less than that.
What is the part number to it? Is that the oil pressure switch? Not sure on what 'low oil level switch' is??
I have this oneIt's well and clean now.
Mopar part # 33004791ab

Unfortunately, the gen 2 uses a slightly smaller sensor. The gen 1 for whatever reason uses a 3/4... the gen 2 and most other mopar cars use the 5/8So it the pressure switch not level.
This for gen 2.
The spare sensor that i have has 19mm threads… so about 3/4Unfortunately, the gen 2 uses a slightly smaller sensor. The gen 1 for whatever reason uses a 3/4... the gen 2 and most other mopar cars use the 5/8
