Close to pulling the trigger on a Roe blower and in preparation for the install, I'd like to know if anyone has any advice in hindsight? Was there anything that you wished you would have done at the time of the install? Just want to make sure that I make full use of the time the car is in the shop. Here's what I'll be adding:
-ROE S/C 10 psi
-H2O/Methanol kit
-MSD Fuel pump voltage booster
-MSD 8.5 mm plug wires
-172' Thermostat
-ATI damper
Do you think stock headers will be a SEVERE restriction with this setup? That's about the only thing I see as limiting my gains.

I did the same as you, basically. Headers were (and still are) on my list...but the gains did not justify the $$ at the time. :) I added 1.7 Rockers and rods. I also did up custom inserts where I mount the water/**** nozzles. You already have the HF cats....I would do the hoses while there *what the heck!!!).

with 10lbs of boost yes! you will restrict air from going out. are you doing ported heads? you went this far and spent all that money. call roe and finish it off right and get yourself some 1 3/4 headers.

Thanks Tony, anyone else?

Upgrade fuel pump, ported heads (Roe does them), B&B headers. If you're going to huff the air in, you have to let it out.

You will not get full advantage of the S/C with stock heads and exhaust manifolds while using the 10 lbs pulley. I get boost creep with the 8 lbs pulley and I have headers and no cats. Until you're ready to do heads and exhaust stay with 8 lbs. Heads and fuel system are next on my agenda. If you need a set of 1.7 Mopar Roller Rockers PM me.

Remove the CATs they are the most restrictive.
And install maybe the 1.7 rockers.

I currently have the 10lb kit with late style factory exhaust manifolds and stock exhaust with no mufflers. Seems to work fine. I am sure the factory headers are a restriction, but it still works. I am making about 610 rwhp right now.

I am sure more HP can be had with 1 3/4" headers and a 3" exhaust, but it can wait.

Not Really true. I had the 8lb setup with stock heads, rockers, and manifolds. I had peak hosepower @ 542RWHP...Added the **** injection and a 10lb pulley and redynoed @ 620 RWHP, and the car has never ran better....If thats not getting full advantage, I dont know what is...80 RWHP for under 600.00...Al...

I have the 8lb pulley, stock heads, but headers and no cats. Dynoed 640 RWHP/707 RWTQ. Heads, 10lb pulley and DW crank pulley are next along with some Greg Good heads! :2tu:

I got a set of JM heads for sale with 1.7 T&D's. That would be the perfect combo for your 10lb Roe. :2tu: :headbang:
