So I sold my 02 Graphite Gray DLM supercharged GTS several months ago because the perfect opportunity presented itself. Being partial to Graphite Gray and of Twin Turbo Vipers, when the opportunity presented itself to purchase Hyph's Twin Turbo GTS I had to seriously consider it. After working out something that Keith and I were happy with, and knowing the condition that he keeps his cars in(as many have vouched the car was in great condition when purchased) we broke a deal and I made the move.

As many know the car had the build listed below and made 966whp/997wtq on pump gas in 100+ degree weather on the original build but unfortunately because a failed water pump the car overheated. To make sure things were not harmed and the motor was good, the car was picked up and sent to Will @ RSI to break the motor down and essentially rebuild it. There have been a few changes made to the original build, the main ones listed below (and will be additional smaller ones)

-Comp Cam Custom Grind Turbo Camshaft
-Heads that flow 250cfm
-Billet Mains
-Pectel Engine Management with boost by gear
-Setup for ability to run E85 mix
-Traction control
-Stoptech big brake kit
-Roll Bar
-Sp600 (19 in the front, 18 in the rear)

Well after a lot of anticipation, which was expected with how busy RSI stays and clearly some changes in direction for the build; It is finally coming together! I didn't get the car back exactly when I wanted but I knew it wasn't going to be an overnight project (at times it is frustrating because I wanted to car NOW....but id rather have a shop build the car that is so busy because they know what they are doing rather than have a shop be able to burn through my car because no one else wants to send them their car). I should have the car in my hands in 30 Days fully ready to go!!

Im sure at times ive been a pain blowing up Wills email/Phone because again I want the car NOW (we all do lol) and Will and I still have a few things to finish up in addition to the car but the main thing is another RSI1500 should be down here in Houston by August 25th.

This is the old DLM GTS but essentially what the car will look like with the wheel setup (will look much better with the big brake kit behind them)

I touched bases with Will Friday as of right now my current status is still good for August 25th with the following updates

-Working on the pectel wiring
-Brakes are on order and should be here soon
-Waiting to hear back from autoform on the roll bar
-A couple other pending things should be ironed out by next week

Cant wait.

my current update is

-Still working on the pectel wiring
-Brakes are still on order
-Still waiting to hear back from autoform on the roll bar
-A couple other pending things should be ironed out by next week- still not ironed out

Clearly not the update that I was hoping for, and it appears that my date may be getting pushed again. I'm waiting for Will to let me know what the deal is there...I'll post once I get that info from him
