My 02 ACR seems to have some valve trane chatter at lower RPM levels. I don't recall the same level of chatter on my 94 RT/10. Is this common or cause for concern? My dealer/service manager seems to think it is normal, and there is another ACR on the showroom floor that has an identical sound. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Bob

Normal. Some say you can now hear the valve train on the new 'creme-puffs' since they don't have the same lumpy cams of the earlier cars. Go read some old posts, it's nothing to be concerned about.

Bingo. The newer Viper motors run so quietly due to the lighter-tighter pistons and de-tuned cam, that the injectors and lifters are more audible.

Fix: LOUDER, HiFLOW EXHAUST SYSTEM !
