UPS delivered my TB last night. :headbang:

Its beautiful Gary...

After I get over the shock of paying for my new Nikon :omg:
I'll look into getting a set of your valve covers.
If they are half as nice as the TB they will be awesome...
right on! and thank you!:D

Even though I cant be there to personally look at it, mine did arrive a while ago and want to thank you for a beautiful product Gary. I got some pics of it and it sure does look nice. Too bad I cant get that along with other goodies that I have already gotten and will also soon get installed on my snake just yet. All in due time.

Thank you very much. I cant wait to see the smooth tube/air filter kit you guys are working on. I am sure it will be another top of the line product for the viper.
:eater:
right on, i am working on that, and a line of Billet tool holders for sockets, wrenches, etc that will feature Viper logos to match the year of your Viper.
so that when you open your tool box, you will have Viper powered tools, to work on your Viper with!

Please help me understand the basics...

1. Is this a direct swap out for the stock unit?

2. Does it require larger fuel lines or fuel rails?

3. For a Roe Racing Supercharger (5lbs) rig, any issues one would need to know about?

4. What smooth tube are you recommending?

6. Stock fuel linkage?

Any other than the above that a prepared person would want to know about?

Many thanks!

1. Is this a direct swap out for the stock unit?----yes, you will reuse your stock linkage

2. Does it require larger fuel lines or fuel rails?-------no your stock lines are plenty sufficent

3. For a Roe Racing Supercharger (5lbs) rig, any issues one would need to know about?-nope, just bolt on the X-Metal Throttle body and enjoy the improved throttle response and power

4. What smooth tube are you recommending?---hopefully my X-Metal one soon, i am working on one

6. Stock fuel linkage?-yes, see #1

Any other than the above that a prepared person would want to know about?

Is Gen 2 an issue?

Also, Im using the JMB/PBJ air box so the smooth tube transitions in the first coupler from stock to larger ID. Not sure what to do.

Well, Yeah.

Your Gen2 has TWO Throttle Bodies, correct?

The Gen3 uses a single TB.

Completely different setup.

Click this : http://forums.viperclub.org/2472223-post80.html and check out the pictures I took of the TB. Much different than yours.

Many thanks, I do believe we are making progress here...so I take it that the X-Metal product is not available for Gen2 cars, or is it avaible but just not in a group buy.

I'll leave this for Gary to answer for sure, but IIRC, he hasn't made TB's for the Gen2 cars yet.;)

we have prototype 70mm TB's developed for the GEN2, but we havent put them into final production. i have tested them for about 8 months on my 2000 GTS, and the results are phenomal. i would like to start another thread and gauge the interest for a GEN2 package.
but yes, we do make them, but we havent gone full blown into production. possibly after the first of the year i might offer a GB on them too.

Gary, at one point I thought you were working on a prototype for the GenII's? Did anything come of that?

I'd be happy to help "test" the Gen II throttle bodies. ;)

I'm interested in them once you have full production.

Best of luck with the arm and the new addition!

I'm sure I missed this window of opportunity and I’m pissed. If a 2nd round gets started please count me in. Thx, Jeff Schaefer
