Metal deposits on oil drain plug??
What exactly are the small metal shavings that appear on the oil pan magnetic drain plug. Usually they are very miniscule but the last time I changed my oil there was a solid piece about the size of a grain of rice. Car only has 7,900 miles on it and runs like a top. backup lights
Mine were out on my 98 GTS with 2,200 miles when I first bought the car. Finally got around to having switch replaced when Chuck did my frame recall work at 5,500 miles. Inexpensive to replace switch but apparently a very common problem.- Firecat F7 Viper

How Long Did Your Clutch Last?
I have to agree. Are you slipping the clutch or using it as a brake on hills? I know it's not comparing apples to apples but I got 140,000 on my Mustang and clutch was still good when I sold it. Drag advice
I have never raced....but may someday. Can somebody tell me why it is best to redline or nearly redline when shifting. I figure if the horsepower and torque peak is in the upper 4,000 RPM range(Hope I am correct in those figures) and then tappers off after that...then why wouldn't you shift at...- Firecat F7 Viper
