Just thought that this info may be of assistance to someone at sometime as it gave me a lot of grief until solved. After driving for approx. 10m or more the clutch pedal would go spongey and I could not shift, then it would recover. Anyway after having clutch, master and slave cylinders replaced more than once the problem persisted, everyone guessing like I did or am I just dumper than most. Turns out that the clutch hydraulic line was now too close to the newly installed headers and boiling/vaporizing the clutch fluid....dah!!!
Relocated hydaulic line and all is fine again.
