What would be a fair price on the labor to do an install of the Roe blower unit? :usa:

What about any other support mods like:
larger fuel injectors, larger fuel pump, return fuel rail, etc.

Labor to install the blower and pinning the crank is only HALF of the equation to a GOOD install. The other half of the equation of an EXCELLENT installation, is spending some time and money at a dyno checking A/F and timing adjustments with a knowledgeable ROE tuner.

This later process is the way to get ALL of the POWER out of the mods you have spent your money on. :2tu: All Vipers are somewhat hand built and have different responses to mods, ie: no 2 Vipers have same exact hp numbers for the same modification.

Cudaman hit the nail dead on.The second half of his statement is one that a lot of people dont realise. These cars are hand assembled and have more variances than most production cars. The motors are not balanced/bluprinted so HP and mod #s will vary.

WOW.....I couldn't charge that much if you offered....was sex included :)

FR...pinning the crank is where you drill two holes into the balancer/crank assembly and insert a roll pin in each hole. The other way is to pull the crank out and have it and the balancer machined for a key way. Factory has no key way, the bolt torque is 250 ft. lbs. ...... many are not torqued enough and there have been a few come off.

1Tony1,
Do you burn your own cards on your installs or use Sean's cards ? I am in the process of setting up a account with Sean at my dealership and I was curious how the program was ? I charge $95 a hour and that starts to add up when you are on a dyno... I am getting better at LS1 edit and I feel I am fair when tuning LS1 cars. I know it will take a while to get adjusted, but I was looking for a little heads up.
Thanks,
Joe

I have the stuff to tweak/burn cards but Seans are usually real close and would only need tweaking. I still run the card Sean sent with my vec2 with no tweaking.

Totallly agree as I have found that out. I put the blower on my car a few weeks ago. Granted I learned alot about the car while doing the install and was able to get all the parts bolted into the right location, I lack the experience and equipment to dial it in to its potential. The car is fully driveable but im sure that there are about 30 more horsies that can be found in tuning. I encourage anyone getting roes kit to install it them self and then take it to a tuner for dynotuning or get with an installer that will let you watch/help.

Good luck on the car!

The car is faster no doubt about it. As I said above I need to have it dyno tuned but its fully driveable.

To prevent detination on 90 octane gas, so much timing had to be pulled out that there is sometimes a little lag at lower rmps but its not very noticeable. This is such a great kit. Once I upgrade the bottom end Id love to put a different pully on - hopefully Sean will have his intercooler done by then.
