    A/C question

    I live in West Palm Beach and in 90 - 95F heat the AC in my black 03 works great. I use recirculate mode and after it cools down inside I lower the fan speed to medium. No complaints.

    2003 SRT- 10 any known issues?

    I have had good luck with my 03 with 19K miles on it now. Both front shocks have been replaced in the past year due to leaking, but that's it! Go for it, you will love it.

    John, After having spent a day at the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction in West Palm this weekend, I would vote for you to keep the 66 or 67 whichever you like the most. Older cars are appreciating and if you have a nice one keep it. Next keep the Viper, of course! Good luck.

    My 03 with 19K miles has had the oil pan gasket and both front shocks replaced in the past year. I did just purchase the 7 year extended coverage warranty for everything after learning a front shock costs $925 plus installation. You can buy the extra warranty through year 4 after the inservice...

    A dealer in West Plam Beach has an 05, never titled, with 300 miles on it and he wants $69.9K and a friend has tried to buy it for $65K and the dealer is holding firm. $62K is a good price. Go for it!!

    Small world, but I installed Green filters yesterday and there is a 1/2" or so OD drain hole in the bottom of the air box. If it was not there you would be sucking water in a hard rain.
