    Heat will destroy anything. Have solved many trans & diff problems by install coolers on them. The cooler setup from Chrysler works and can be adapted to anything.

    gas millage-what gives?

    I must drive like a girl. Most trips are min. of 300 miles was getting since new 25 to 27 mpg after trinket mods (454 rwhp) getting 23 to 25 mpg, if I run in the 80 to 90 range it ranges from 19 to 21 mpg.

    180 thermostat

    When I used to drag race a lot I used to switch between cast iron heads & aluminum depending on what class I was running, I had to run the steel heads at 140 to 160 and the aluminum at 220 to 240 to run the best . Had a 928 Porsche on dyno was making 286 to 289 rwhp , cam back 2 wks later...
