    CROSS OVER PIPE

    I just installed the Belanger exhaust system and its kind of loud. The shop that installed it suggested a cross over tube possibly made from rectangular tube for clearance. He said it would make it quieter by about 20% and make it sound better. Has anyone tried this?

    IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THE EXTENDED WARRANTY PROGRAM. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO GET INTO THE PARTICULARS UNTIL I GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO CORRECT IT. I HAVE DEALT WITH A FEW PEOPLE ON THE LOWER LEVELS WHO ARE POWERLESS AND ONLY CAN ONLY GO BY THE BOOK. IT IS NOT A CLAIM ISSUE.

    NO I REALLY AM SERIOUS. I KEPT GETTING REALLY BAD HEADACHES WHEN I WAS IN THE VEHICLE. THE ONLY DIFFERENCES WERE IT WAS IN A DODGE TRUCK AND IT WAS ONE OF THE GLASS MOUNT ANTENNAS THAT WAS LAYING ON THE REAR SEAT TEMPORARILY SO I DON'T KNOW IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE OR NOT. GOOD LUCK...
