The lowest anybody (besides RussM) has reported back to us is an 8 RWhp gain on a dynojet, the highest has been 24rwhp.

The Vipair really works great at the track, Valaya Racing fabbed one up into my Comp Coupe that we ran at Laguna Seca a couple of weeks ago and the car was gaining 2 positions a lap until we blew an ABS speed sensor and locked up the left wheel and ripped the front splitter off the car.

What kind of splitter? Is it for sale? Does it have matching GT2 wing?
If anyone does verify that this thing works please let me know as well. I have no intention of buying one, but I figure if Joe is so opposed it then the boys at Vipair must be on to something...

Somebody kill this already before I fart in somebodys intake and claim it made an extra 30 RWHP on the dyno. Kidding aside, if you think about the intake on a genII with K&N's, you really can't get much more air induction because the original front intake hood design of the induction is actually a COLD AIR INTAKE DESIGN. Think about it, the only way to create the most efficient air intake would be to remove your airbox and run elongated smooth tubes through the front induction opening of the hood without airfilters and see if there is any HP gain. Probably less than 1-2HP without any airfilter, and I am not condoning driving without an airfilter. There's my 2 cents on this anaconda thread.

Rick, please think about what you are saying 24 RWHP from a non power additive intake mod that is naturally aspirated.
Are you claiming that Vipair makes the car breath so great that it adds 35 HP at the crank? This seems to be beyond physics.

Charlie, I'm just going by the stats. D/C is so dumb not to add Vipair at the factory. I think the oil companies are paying 'em off.

all kidding aside I bought a Vipair and im happy with it Steve gave me the option to return it if I dident like it and I did so I kept it.
Hell even if it don't work (which I personally think it does give SOME HP to be honest) its a cool poser mod because it does look good.

What would the Vipair have to do in order for you to be unhappy with it?

Well if you put your hand there just while the car is idle you can feel cooler air that is comming up from where the vipair claims it does and thats just by feel and if cooler air = power then it must give some power.

Joe, one thing you may not know about Stu; he has more money than...well, he has a lot of money, so it doesn't matter if the unit works or not to him.
I would say if it added five true RWHP, then it would be worth it.
I'm not knocking you Stu. When I was 20 I thought I knew everything but I knew absolutely nothing. I had been nowhere and had experience at nothing. I was in a college frat and my world was pretty small. I am sure that you must know more than I did at that age.
Still don't know much or I wouldn't still be in school after all these years.
