Hi guys...

My cousin bought a blue 2006 Z06 about 6 months ago..He recently added a mild cam/air intake/tune to produce 510 rwhp sae...

My 2003 srt10 hit 480 rwhp sae with an air intake/no cats/roller rockers...

At a outstanding 1/4 mile spot that I have been useing for about 8 years now.......

1000 feet elevation
65-75 degree hawaiian weather

And with the same circuit city FX2 timer I have been using for 8 years

(tested at actual drag strip for accurracy and found that the 60 ft is 100% accuartae and the 1/8 mile is 99% accurate and the 1/4 mile is usually off by 1.5 mph and 1.5 tenths...But sometimes dead on)...

The following cars have been tested at this location useing my FX2 timer

-98 supercharged auto camaro=14.9 at 93 mph( best ever at drag strip=15.1 at 91 mph)

-stock 2004 auto corvette=13.3 at 105 mph(best ever at drag strip=13.5 at 104)

-stock manual 2005 nsx=13.1 at 107 mph( no drag strip runs)

-stage1 auto E55AMG=12.5 at 111 mph (best ever drag strip 12.7 at 110 mph)

-Mild head and cam auto corvette=12.6 at 113 (best ever drag strip=12.8 at 111)

-1999 Viper stock 410 rwhp=12.4 at 117 (no drag strip runs)

-1999 Viper with bolt ons and 445 rwhp=12.0 at 122 mph (no drag strip runs)

-Then my 480 rwhp srt10=11.7 at 124 mph ( no drag strip runs)

C6Z06's are fast even when stock...So needless to say I was very scared of my cousins 510 rwhp beaste.....

So we looked up my data o the fx2 and saw what he needed to beat..

-1.9 60 ft
-0-60 in 3.97
-11.77 at 124.0 mph

Before I go ant farther keep in mind that those were my best numbers out of 75 1/4 mile passes...

I AVERAGED 0-60 MPH IN 4.05 AND THE 1/4 MILE IN 11.9 AT 121.5-122.0

The cammed C6z06 lined up in very favorable ( for Hawaii) 68 degree weather...

The first run yielded a 2.3 60 foot and a 12.5 at 120 mph...

The second run a yielded a much improved 2.2 60 foot and a 12.1 at 121.8 mph

Out of 6 clean runs for the night his third run yielded the best....

2.1 60 foot
0-60 in 4.07
1/4 mile in 11.97 at 123.3 mph...

He then ran several more 12.0's at 122.5-123 mph

Very impressive results for his first time drag raceing the new set up

ATLEASTE FOR NOW MY RECORDS ARE SAFE...BUT IM SURE WITH ANOTHER 10 OR SO RUNS UNDER HIS BELT HE WILL KNOCK THEM OFF QUICKLY

Oh BTW...I know low 120 trapp speeds for bolt on vipers or cammed C6Z06's seems slow..But here in hawaii...Stock SRT10's and Z06's trapp in the mid to high teens.......

My car is haveing some paint work done but has since had added a titanium exhaust...
Once I get the car back ill try and improve on that 11.7 at 124 to try and keep that pesky vette at bay..ha ha ha
