Open the trunk and look under/near where the amplifier is on the left. You will see a black plastic cube. Remove the lid and you will see the relay.

I looked there but didnt see it. I got my service manual and it says the relay is located near the PCM under the blower motor. The service manual shows a diagram of the relays but does not list a fuel pump relay? it shows a ASD relay, Radiator Fan on relay, radiator fan high/low relay, a/c clutch relay, and the starter relay. Reading further into the manual ,it says the relay is located in the PDC (power distribution center). So what do i unplug so i dont dump fuel during the compression test? sorry to be so stupid, but this is the 1st thing besides general maintenance that im doing myself

I know it's there on a Gen II, at the time I posted it didn't occur to me that you have a Gen 1.5. Hopefully someone else can chime in with your year.

Sorry

At startup, there's so little fuel being injected that I never even considered de-activating the system during compression tests. Just remember to open the throttles all the way when cranking.

My gen 1 relay was in the trunk in the loom that runs across the under side of the trunk lid...I believe it has a fuse in it..
