Eddy,

You are really confused as usual. Reality is proving the naysayers correct. Face facts.

Vipair is showing NO improvements in all testing done thus far. Maybe you can device a very narrow test condition where is has a benefit, but even that seems unlikely at this point.

Sorry, but facts are facts.

You really like to point to the GTSR testing which I would still like to read more of. What you have quoted to date is far from pointing to the Vipair design as having any benefits, but rather shows that there may be issues under certain conditions with the setup they were originally using.

" Below 80 mph; no difference ambient pressure. At 80 to 120 or so, a negative pressure is likely, at 120 and up some positive pressure may exist."

Ok. let's just take what you posted at face value. It says there is nothing wrong with the stock intake at speeds less than 80mph. RIGHT?

So how can you claim any improvement at less than 80mph?

I'm not giving you the other speed ranges. I'm only saying that your own proof shows that there is NO IMPROVEMENT AT LESS THAN 80 MPH.

"Joe do I really have to play connect the dots with you? Should I use a crayon and make sure to not go too fast for you to keep up?"

Since you continue with the name calling, I'm going to have to conclude that you have nothing left to fall back on.

I will say this concerning your marketing tactics.
In my opinion, Vipair is at least of questionable value.

I believe that The testing done to date shows that any gains are going to be so small that they can't be reliably measured.

I believe that you knowingly market this very marginal if not worthless product to people using your status as a Viper club member.

I believe you are trying to cloud the issue with personal attacks against anyone who tests and finds your claims invalid.

I do believe that you would sell a worthless product to your friends simply to make money.

Guys, think of all the threads that you see, and pass by.
Why would you jump in on this one just to say that you think it's too long?
What's the harm in talking about this as long as we need to?

Right now, we are waiting for some test results from Russ and others.

Give us a break, we're only using this one little place.

I agree, if you don't like this thread going on and on just skip over it. Seems a little silly to me that someone who can't stand this thread would take the time to read it and then lengthen it by posting "geez I wish people would stop posting on this thread!"

Just move on and ignore this thread. For everyone else, let's make it to 100 posts... WHOOO HOOO!!! :2tu:

Easy summary for ya:

Install VIPAIR and your car will pick up anywhere from -15 to +500 HP. The intake air with be both warmer and colder, in higher and lower pressure.

Frank eats early.

Gerald needs a haircut.

MHQC & Joe Dell hate this thread.

Good afternoon all. I sincerly apologise for my lack of committment to the Vipair post. Its been 4 or 5 days since I kept you up-to-date on the days eats.

Todays lunch consisted of a stop at the local 711 for 14.5 gallons of unleaded (for the car), a 20 oz Diet Mountain Dew and a 2-pack of boiled eggs. Thats right eggs at 711! You just cant beat em.

I anticipate a late dinner consisting of something "Atkins friendly" since the weekend was populated with lots of breads and basically bad ****.

Again, I am terribly sorry for the tardy reply. I will attempt to keep all parties in the loop for breakfast.

Re: VIPAIR™ Dyno Results on 99 RT 16 RWHP!!

Summary? I don't want to go over all that, but I can predict the future.

In my opinion, it is obvious at this point that the sellers plan to continue marketing this product as if there were real evidence of it's value.

In my opinion, they will find folks willing to buy their product.
Some of these people will "feel" an improvement in their car's performance.
Most of these people will feel nothing. They will leave the product in place because the cost isn't worth the effort to unbolt it and send it back or perhaps they think it makes the engine compartment look better.
PT Barnum was on the right track.

In my opinion, the sellers of the product will claim near 100% customer satisfaction.

I believe, that if there were any performance gain from this device, the sellers would have posted unquestionable test results as proof.

I think we will see the sellers continue to claim unproven benefits and attack anyone who disagrees with their questionable dyno "tests".

Maybe the test conditions specified by the mfr. required a full moon and certain humidity and barometric pressure requirements.

Hmmmmmm.
