What is this Part?

Using the Dodge parts listing, I think the part number is 04708235, but the parts book shows only one per car. There are two.
The flap attaches to the front splash shields using 4 rivets.

Driver's side part:
You must be registered for see images attach


Pass side part:
You must be registered for see images attach


Is that the correct part number and the parts book has the wrong quantity? Or is this part no longer available? It looks like it would be very simple to make. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would bet the part number you found is for 1 side specific and a different part number for the other side! That happens a lot.

Good point; however, the parts book lists it as "SHIELD, Wheelhouse" and shows quantity of 1. No mention of left or right. Plus the part looks to fit either side. Thanks.

Not uncommon for the parts catalog to be incomplete when it comes to a Viper, if you order it have the parts guys open it to make sure you even get the correct thing.

We wonder if they simply reverse (flip over) for each side since they only show one part number:
