Electrical problem: A/C fan diverter, pwr windows inop, airbag light on

The size is Secure TORX T-20. So I removed the Ignition switch from the car then dry turned it with the key a few times. Just out of curiosity I plugged it back in the car and now it is working, the accessories are turning on again. I am guessing there was some oxidation on the switch, but...

Electrical problem: A/C fan diverter, pwr windows inop, airbag light on

I have the exact same problem, last week I did just what you did, I shut it down, took the key out and put it back in and it started working again. But this week that trick no longer works, the accessories now stay off all the time, the power windows do not work any more, even the blinker lights...

    Rebuildable Wheel Hubs?

They do come apart. It just takes a little hamering. I did replace the grease with synthetic Mobil 1 bearing grease.

    Advantage: Viper vs Motorcycle

Unless you have at least 1000 hp I would not even bother. My Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R can do 0-180 mph in 17 seconds and quarter mile in 9 sec. I don't think the Viper in the same league. And yes I've had bikes come up to me when in the Viper but I wave them by.

    Help Recharging theAir Conditioning System

Does any vendor sell a kit to replace all the AC O-Rings on the Viper? Should be a lot easier than going to PepBoys to match the current O-Rings.

    Gen 2 Wheel Question

But once you remove the clear coat the world is your oyster. You can polish them, fix up any curb rash and make them look like new. The best thing I did was to remove that clearcoat. Not only can I clean the wheels now but I can repolish anytime they need it. So they are always mint.

Anybody ever run the brake rotor / pads from Ebay?

Since you drive it only on the street do you not want the rotors to look as good as possible? Here are some options: http://forums.viperclub.org/rt-10-gts-discussions/613042-rotors-decision-guide.html

    Rotors - Decision Guide

Dave, I would love those, but they only make the EuroTeck for the SRT. No plans for a Gen II version. It was a previous thread.

    Rotors - Decision Guide

Chuck, the reason I am so honest is because I read all the previous messages on the subject and I could well remember your comments on how crappy drilled are for the track. PS: For those that asked this is for a Gen II GTS Final Edition. PS2: These sources have two-piece rotors for the rear of...

    Rotors - Decision Guide

It may be getting time to replace my rotors so I would like to see what the opinion of the group is. Here are the requirements for a Gen II 2002 GTS: - 2 piece - Crossdrilled and possibly sloted. (Poser modification so cracking is not an issue) - Directional vanes separating the inner and...

    I am pissed!

How did you drive it home from the dealer, did it not make any noise then? And it looks like you need a new brake caliper more than a new wheel.

Sale on Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines, 1992 - 2006!

I did finish the install. Also, I talked to Sean and suggested some modifications to make it fit on a 2002 better. I had to manufacture the brackets for the front to make it fit nice. Also I think the rear lines are two inches too long. Other than that, he does have quality parts. The...

Brake Pads EBC Red Or Green?

After reading most of the posts on brake pads the two most comon choices seem to be EBC Red Or Green. In 2006 posts, Green seems to be recommended more than Red because red took too long to heat up. In 2007 Red CERRAMIC took over as the favorite pad in the posts. Green changed compund and...
